Walid Sassi is an iOS Lead Developer at Sephora, based in France, with more than 13 years spent building and scaling production iOS applications. His work focuses on the architecture beneath the product — Clean Architecture, dependency injection, modular Swift, and Swift 6 concurrency — and more recently on how on-device AI changes where intelligence belongs in an app. He is the co-author of AI Driven Swift Architecture (Packt, with Dave Poirier, foreword by Jon Reid), hosts the Swift Academy podcast, and founded Swift Tribune, a platform for advanced iOS engineering. He speaks regularly at Swift conferences across Europe.
